The water AMR system we need established should service different Customers thro’ a Portal that is wirelessly connected to the AMR’s through the Telco network of Safaricom, Telkom Orange or Zain. (www.safaricom.co.ke , www.telkom.co.ke or www.zain.co.ke ). The 3 carrier networks support GSM and wireless Internet networks with a reasonable Kenya wide footprint. Water metering in Nairobi today is based on archaic mechanical water meters. We expect t to supercede this with digital water metering pilot with water fraud Alerts is the way to outsmart the competition. Competition in any case is mandated by our law on public procurement which makes the pilot even more strategic. This is also a request for information on the water metering Service we can establish with your systems as we need to offer the water supply companies a water metering service.
