My name is Zach Ballard. I am a member of Rainwater for Humanity, a group that works to improve drinking water conditions in the Kuttandad region of Kerala, India by investing in rainwater harvesting and storage structures. It is a collaborative effort involving students and professors from Brown University in the United States and Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam, Kerala. Recent research conducted at Brown University has produced alternate, cement-based construction materials and allowed us to cut costs and scale up production.We will now build ten more rainwater harvesting tanks during the next season. This project will require 1 MT of mid-high grade ground-granulated blast furnace slag, which we are hoping to purchase from you.
