Uniwersum Ltd. is a Polish company with significant experience in ship-breaking. We posses concession for discard generation issued by Department of Environment Protection, Pomerania District Office in Gdansk/Poland. We have signed agreement for quay renting with Shipyard of Gdansk. The quay is rented along with the adjacent area, equipped with technical infrastructure necessary for ship-breaking. We look for vessels destined for breaking according to the following parameters: 1) A vessel MUST be registered at the International Ship Registry 2) Possibility of self-navigation or readiness for towing the vessel to the port of Gdansk 3) The offer should contain: a) IMO or MMSI vessel number b) Information on vessel dimensions (length, width, height), light, stern and bow drafts and lightweight (â€ÂÅ“weight of empty vesselâ€ÂÂ) c) Technical and surveys book. d) Information on weight specification of various metals and other materials content - indispensable for fixing purchase price and vesselâ€Ââ„¢s quality and quantity acceptance in Gdansk. We need information on how many kilograms of each material is present on board, for instance: • Aluminum or copper cables • Steel • Copper, aluminum, stainless steel • Other metals • Hazardous materials (including i.e. asbestos – if present) - this knowledge is necessary to estimate the cost of utilization which influences of course total price of the vessel • Radioactive materials (if present) • Mineral wool • Foam • Refit surface covers on the floors • Wood • Other materials etc. 4) Price will be indicated on CIF Gdansk basis.
