Im after 1000 units quotation At the end of the day im after a cheap good quality unit no more than 100USD each (cheaper the unit the more we can buy) including map and enough memory to carry the map including car and powerpoint charger. Happy to buy units including decoded map as long as they have warranty and are legal to sell, and can have an updated map installed at a later stage (should a consumer want to install one) I need to meet the above criteria to make the business venture profitable, theres a big gap in the Australian market for lower end GPS units. With this in mind i need to buy the units including map for no more than 100USD each, on my resale it will be 130USD to retail outlets in Australia. If i can meet the figures above i already have a very large retailer who wants to buy 1500 units in time for October, providing we get a full working sample (no demo map). My client has kindly offered to pay the chosen manufacturer via his agent (in China) FOB the 130USD price each, with the manufacturer then transferring the difference to me. Aside from this retailer i also have another 1500 units i need to order for two other retailers in Australia. I estimate that if i can achieve a great product at a great rate 6000 - 10000 units over several orders can be achieved before the end of the year.I have bught six samples so far all did not meet there promised expectations, hence no more samples will be paid for.
