Dear Sir,We introduce ourselves as part of the Guard Group of companies a well established financially strong conglomerate with interests in auto parts, lubricants, food and agriculture. The Group was founded in 1948, and we ourselves were established in 1989, as the first private sector company with its own rice Research and Development (R&D) facility. Since then the company has grown and today has five divisions - R&D, Crop Agronomy, Food, Seed and Agriculture Machinery. In our Food Division we have a rice mill with a capacity of 12.5 tons per hour. Our rice brand leads the domestic market, and our branded rice products are exported to some 38 countries round the world. In international collaboration we were the first to look towards China for hybrid rice technology. We have collaboration with Yuan Longping High Tech Agriculture Company, founded by professor Yuan Longping renowned as father and inventor of Hybrid Rice Technology. As part of our expansion plans we are now looking to acquire Instant Rice Technology, preferably from China, and would like to explore the possibility of a mutually acceptable business arrangement with you including entering into a Joint Venture (JV).
