Hi Mr Idris,Im looking for the supply of the below items, seeking your assistance to advise if youll be able to provide, your urgent response is greatly appreciated. ThanksAttached herewith the project specifications for filter sand media required for Bukit Barun Water Treatment Plant Stage 7. Can you kindly assist us to source for its supply in Sabah or Sarawak. Two sizes of grading are required as follows:(a) Fine sand, size range of 0.85 to 1.70mm; the effective size is 0.98mm ± 5%. Quantity required is 400 cu meters.(b) Packing layer, size range of 6.70 to 13.2mm, the uniformity coefficient shall be less than 1.40. Quantity required is 30 cu meters. The filter sand media has to pass a series of physical and laboratory tests as outlined in the attached Specs; some of them are(1) Loss of weight on acid washing with 10% w/v HCl, not more than 2% by weight. [Limit is 4% for the packing layer](2) Loss of weight on ignition to 350 degree C, limit is not more than 2%. [Limit is relaxed to 4% for the packing layer](3) Particle specific gravity shall not be less than 2.40.(4) The fine sand shall not contain more than 5% fines. (i.e. total weight of particles passing the 0.85mm sieve shall not exceed 5%). Extensive works testing (both physical and chemical tests) are required during the production of the filter media. Sampling frequency for testing is given in Clause S3.2.5.9.All test reports are to be supplied along with the filter media. Basis of delivery : CIF Muara Port, Brunei.
