Outline specifications for THSD not less than 5500 m31-The dredger is designed to dredge mud, soft silt , clay and sand.2-Length over all : not more than 110 m .3- Designed draft : not less than 7 m .4- Dredging depth : not less than 25 m .5- Speed 12 kn.6- The dredger is to be built under the special survey of (L.R)or equivalent and to be certified as sea going .7- To be provided with two drag head connected to two separate dredge pump.8- The hopper dredger is designed for the following :-a- Dumping the spoil to the sea through bottom doors .b- Dumping the spoil load to the shore over a distance of (1000 m) through shore connection . 9- A bow thruster of sufficient capacity to be filled .10- Pump room to be separate .11- Built years : not less than 2008 . Outline specifications for Cutter Section dredger1-Marin dredger built under the special survey L.R or equivalent.2-Capacity : not less than 3500 m3 .3- Two marine anchors fitted .4- Supply with floating pipe line and shore pipe line with (300m) sinker pipe line.5- Dredging depth : not less than (14 m).6- Mooring system : Two spud poles & swing winches .7- Spud length : not less than (35 m).8- Built years : not less than 2008 .
