Dear SirsWe are in requirement of the following Rotary Kilns for Spent Oil Bearing Catalyst Molybdenum containing Calcination as well as for some Molybdenum Sulphide Concentrate Roasting into Mo Oxide :- We need 3 Rotary Kilns - the first one for De-Oiling the Spent Catalyst which contains around 20-25% Oil. The second one for Calcination of the Hydrocarbons and Sulphur in the Raw Material which will need to operate at 550C (this second Kiln can be used for Molybdenum Sulfide Concentrate Roasting as well) and the third for Soda Roasting the Calcined and C/S removed Feed with Soda Ash at 950C- This is not a continuous operation.- Sizing : Needs to be done but generally need 1000Kgs per hour output of each- Working Temperature is below the flash point of Oil for the first kiln, 550C for the 2nd Rotary and 950C for the 3rd Rotary- The lining can be Refractory Cement - Glazed Ceramics also work well- I believe size would be 1.2M Dia and 10M lengthThe main issues are :Avoiding Oil ignition and catching fire in the 1st Kiln so that the Oil is only burned off - in case of lower flash point in some catalysts, air flow would need to be increased/ controlled to avoid fire.Burn off for the Hydro Carbons and Sulphur in the 2nd Kiln.The Soda Sintering would require 950C with Air Control valvesAll these 3 Furnaces would be connected to a common Gas Handling Equipment - this would comprise of a Cyclone to arrest the particulate matter, the a Lime Water scrubbing 3 stage scrubber to result in SOx to CaSO4.
