I wonder if you can help. I am trying to locate a type of pin . I have attached two photos to give you an idea what I need. The picture titled safety pin 1 is my first preference. Ideally it would be just like the photo, with a straight pin and not bent to close. This is to achieve beadwork on the side that does not open and will remain secure when the pin opens. I can create the loop coil myself. The pin shaft is needed is to create equine stock pins for eventing and dressage. The overall length of the pin needs to be about 5inches long and the gauge to be 1mm or just under in a silver finish. The Pearl and Shamballa beads I use, have a 1mm centre hole. The picture titled pins 3 is another type of pin I have seen but they are not actually long enough. I did manage to locate a type of pin like a straight kilt pin but it is only made as 1.5mm gu which will not work for me. There are a few other names of pins that may give you clues and that I could work with, a French pin, a coiless safety pin or a u pin. So far I have not found the right gauge and length, can you help? I would really appreciate your guidance.Kind regardsThea Tsamplakos
