RFQ Description

Dear Sir,We are in the start up phase of a project here in the Philippines that will give a product volume of 5.000 M/T of processed and frozen prawns from prawn farms in the first year - increasing to about 15.000 M/T within a 5 years period. Our holding company is registered in the USA and the founders are from Norway and the US. An operating company will be set up in the Philippines as soon as we have the financing in order. This company will employ 150 people increasing to 500 people during the first year of operation.A complete Business Plan is available on request. Total project capital expenditures for phase 1 is estimated to US$ 14 million. A used vessel will be modified to a factory vessel and used for processing and freezing black tiger prawns for worldwide export. The vessel we have acquired has an assessed value of US$ 9.9 M and can be used as collateral for a loan. We are both searching for investors to join the project in the form of equity or debt financing as loan with term of 6 to 10 years. We are already in possession of preliminary contracts both on the supply side (live prawns from the farms) and the demand side (processed and frozen prawns of various types).
