RFQ Description

7.1 Helmets must conform to ANSI Z89.1-1997, Type I, Class E.7.2 Helmets must conform to ANSI 107-2004. Section 6.4 Headwear Requirements. Allhelmets are to have a horizontal reflective strip measuring 1 tall x 3 long on both theleft and right sides of the helmet as well as the front and rear of the helmet. The reflectivestriping is to be placed below the CDOT Logo on the front of the helmet. Referencepictures regarding striping location are attached for the sides and rear of the helmet. Thestriping pictured is for location purposes only. All striping reflectivity standards must bein accordance to ANSI 107-2004.7.3 Bright Hunter Orange in color.7.4 Twenty (20) each per case.7.5 Single piece shell, injected molded with high dielectric strength.7.6 Maximum weight to be no more than 15.5 ounces.7.7 Brow of hat must not have ridges to allow for Hot Stamp without distortion of CDOTlogo.7.8 Adjustable style ratchet-style headband, from sizes 6 7 ¾ for Narrow and Widebrim.7.9 Adjustable style ratchet-style headband, from sizes 7 8 1/2 for Narrow Brim Large.7.10Hot Stamp of CDOT logo, Four (4) color process; 1 7/8 x 3 3/8, Color specificationsare: PMS 287 Blue, PMS 186 Red, and PMS 116 Yellow.
