Hello,I am Siddharth Mohan from Mahashakti Energy Ltd. and am having requirement of fiber optic cable. Below mentioned is the specification of the cable.The fiber optic cable will be required to carry light over a distance of 3m and light from the fiber cable has to fall on the light sensor over the PCB which will be placed inside the automobile engine. The source of light for the cable will be from the headlight(400-1000 nm wavelength light). It should be high efficiency cable(90-95%) with low losses. Single GLASS.without connectors. Waterproof. As far as my information goes this type of cable is also known in market as LIGHT PIPE. I am also attaching few images of the kind of wire matching our requirement. Hope this helps you.
