a fireproof material to use to wrap heating element wire in vintage toasters from the 20s-50 low cost thin something i can handle by my self and cut with home bandsaw. im a disabled vet benn buying old toasters from the early q900 to about 1960. tearing them down and rebuilding. and the heatng elements are made of mica very brittle cant get them out without tearing them up. help me pease fireproof, thin sheets, low cost thin fireproof material for vintage toasters
