Dear Sirs,I purchased a 3.6 hp HANGKAI outboard engine and it arrived today.There are many problems with your Instructions & User Manual in your English translation. The word usage is incorrect and the sentence structures are nonsensical in English. I can give you all kind of examples from your User manua:A) At the bottom of page -4-, item # 2 The entire paragraph does not make sense. B) Sometimes it poor word usage as in the top of page -4- item # 1.3 It is each to work 50 hours, need the cleaning the fuel tank. should read .After 50 hours of use, you need to clean the fuel tank.There are dozens of examples on every page about engine care and use where it is confusing or makes no sense.The problem with poorly written instructions is that it upsets customers and could result in a lawsuit if the user commits an error because he did not understand them and a court determines them to be inaccurate of vague.I rewrote a Instruction and User manual for a Chinese company that manufactures 4 speed band saws. I contacted the seller (Harbor Freight Tools USA) about heir errors and sent them a copy with notations, they rewrote the manual with the changes I wrote and sent to me for approval and it is now included in all shipments from China of this product. I still have the thank you letter from the company.I am a 70 year old retired business executive (VP for west coast retail firm) and I wrote several Instruction Manuals and Teaching Aides for employees and new hires.A US tech writing firm might re-do it for big-bucks, but if you want me to do it, I would do it for the price of the outboard I bought (It arrived with a broken Head-Cover and I have contacted the seller).
