I am part of a ministry that wishes to expand our financially self-sustaining projects to include sales of handmade candles. Because the business is just beginning, our choice of wax might include: semi-refined paraffin wax, fully refined paraffin wax, a combination of paraffin/palm waxes, or a combination of paraffin/soy waxes. We are also in the market to buy wick, 100% cotton, either flat or square braided. Although, we are currently flexible in these areas, we do have experimenting to do. We need to discover the product we will want to market. Therefore, we insist on buying any of the wax products above in smaller quantities (between 8 and 12 kilos). Patience and cooperation from a company that can provide this service will win them consumer faithfulness from us. When our market solidifies, we plan to buy the same product in much larger and frequent quantities. We are located in Nakuru, Kenya. Thus, it would be most convenient to buy from a supplier in east Africa, or be provided with a discounted shipping rate from that company.
