Dear Sir/ Madam, We are in the process of negotiating a supply and delivery contract for clinker to a Cement factory in Kenya. The basics of the contract are as follows: PRODUCT: CLINKER (BULK)- QUALITY ADAPTED FROM ASTM C-150 TYPE 1 (details attached) QUANTITY: 150,000MT per year for THREE years- Total- 450,000MT DELIVERY: JULY 2008 TO JUNE 2011 Either one ship of 12,500mt per month Or, one ship of 25,000mt every two monthsPRICE: (breakdown required as follows) QUOTATION CURRENCY IS UNITED STATES DOLLARS (US$) QUOTATION UNIT IS METRIC TONNES (MT)COST, INSURANCE AND FREIGHT TO MOMBASA (CIF- MOMBASA, KENYA) DESCRIPTION 1st Year: July 2008 to June 2009 2nd Year: July 2009 to June 2010 3rd Year: July 2010 to June 2011 1 FOB 2 SEA FREIGHT 3 INSURANCE 4 TOTAL PAYMENT: IRREVOCABLE LETTER OF CREDIT ICPO/BCL and draft contracts can be discussed after initial price indication. SUPPLIER REQUIREMENTS Have an annual clinker turnover of at least 300,000mt Be a duly incorporated Company Provide certified copies of incorporation documents, the current annual return and any changes filed thereafter Provide certified Audited accounts for the Last 2 years Provide proof of shipping logistics, (proof of working arrangement with a shipping line desirabe) Provide a comprehensive company profile Give at least 2 business references Proof to be provided that they are manufacturers of clinker, or dealers or agents of the manufacturers of clinker Specify both the chemical and physical parameters of the clinker they are offering in the space provided in the attached sheetYour prompt response will be greatly appreciated.
