RE: APPLICATION TO BE REGISTERED AS A BUYER OF MOLASSES PRODUCT ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬ The above subject refers; We seek your consideration to register us as a buyer of Molasses Product and also be granted a preferential access to the same. We are a registered company in Zimbabwe with business operations in Harare. Our business is predominantly involved in the supply of stock feeds ingredients, mainly focusing on key products which are, soya meal, maize bran, wheat bran, fish meal, sunflower cake, cotton cake, molasses, among others. Our customer base covers farmers in the northern part of Zimbabwe and stock feed manufacturing companies in Harare, Ruwa, Norton and Marondera. We therefore apply for annual allocation of 2000MT with monthly drawdowns of 150MT payable at the prevailing market rates. We seek to have an interrupted supply of molasses product in order meet the growing demand in Harare. Our sales volume for the past two months were at 100MT. This quantity was achieved through sourcing of molasses from individual sugarcane farmers. The absence of one central collection point has made us incur demurrage costs, empty return loads and this has substantially increased the cost of acquiring molasses. We therefore seek to normalize our business cycles by developing a buyer/ supplier arrangement with you that will ensure optimal stocks of molasses are available for our markets.
