RFQ Description

We are in need of the price of 50000 units of motorcycle helmet with following characteristics: The protection offered by the helmet must be ensured by an outer shell made of rigid materials (synthetic or composite), by a less rigid inner shell in polystyrene and a chinstrap which must keep the helmet in place in all circumstances. The task of the helmet is twofold: to protect the head thanks to the extremely hard outer shell and to absorb the energy of the impact by creating a deformation zone thanks to the inner shell. The technical requirements of the helmet are as follows: • Outer shell in synthetic or composite materials; • Polystyrene cap; • Internal padding in “hypoallergenic” fabric; • Adjustable chinstrap; • Removable screen; • Mini/maxi helmet weight: 900/1600 grams; • Available in color (Black, White; Grey; Red); • Size XL; The helmet must have an ECE 22.05 or DOT FMVSS 218 or SNELL M2015 approval certificate. And each helmet must bear a label showing the marking of the homologation standard. A certificate of approval or a certificate of approval from the country of origin of the proposed helmet and a copy of the test report issued by a specialized laboratory are required for the judgment of the competitor's offer. Failure to present such a document implies the rejection of the competitor's offer.
