Looking for a small , light weight, diesel gen set for use with a truck APU (auxilliary power unit). Can be either water or air cooled but must be low RPM (1800 max). Must be US frequency (60 Hz). Small size is critical, area available to mount the device is 820mm X 660mm X 710mm). Plan to purchase one unit itially for testing and development, anticipate large scale purchases after that. Would be very interested to find a supplier who can re-design a unit to fit our size criteria. We have found that all units available are configured in a linear fasion, meaning the gen head is at one end, engine and radiator is at the other which makes the unit very long, too long.
