RFQ Description

Dear Sirs, My name is Peter Boswell, I was involved in the early nineties with the development of the half-sleeve ported RC hammer, and with the floating shroud patent held owned by Premier Rock Tools but lost to SDS as a result of the Patent battles concerning the bit shroud.I have as personal friends the designers and managers of the companies that designed and manufactured the TRC 542, 545, etc and the managing director of Premier Rock Tools during the design of the PR range including the 52, and 54. For 10yrs I have thought about the hammer designs and their shortcomings; and 2yrs ago I started to get new ideas required to improve hammer performance and reliability. In the last 2yrs we have fully modelled and have placed Provisional Patents in the areas of;-•Inner tube adaptor with regard to its air-flow efficiency, its mounting, its ability to centralise the sample-tube on its concentric axis with the outer case and piston patent pend.•Overall air-flow efficiency patent pend.•Anti-back-hammer patent pend.•New piston with improved striking nose, patent pend.•New design of R/C bit which is short, cannot shank, has optimised piston bit mass ratios, and a new novel method of retention patent pend.•Hammer performance control system, internal in the hammer; this system will protect the hammer from excessive airpower patent pend.•The hammer is optimised for weathered horizon and is the most powerful hammer designed to date for hard formation, with the most robust design for striking surfaces and extended fatigue life. This hammer can change modes within the hole without being returned to the surface patent pend.•This one hammer consequently is suitable for a broad range of drilling applications and available air-power without changing internal parts.•This hammer is very simple and possible has less parts than your hammers, the control and modulation system only has an additional 3 parts.•This hammer is designed to be energy efficient, with the capacity for high percussive energy for hard formation, and will be also, an excellent soft formation hammer.Thanking you, hope to talk soon,Peter *@***********************
