Dear Sires, our Company deals with food Ingredients since 2004 in the MERCOSUR area. We have one customer that would like to import (directly) 100mt/month of Food Grade Corn Starch. Besides your best offer CFR/Brazilian Port, he asks also your Product Analysis, and your information if you already sells it to any Brazilian customer. One of the taxes that the importer has to pay, called Merchant Navy Tax is charged over the FOB (Departure Port) price. Therefore, he will need both prices: FOB Departure Port and CFR (not CIF) Brazilian Port. We will add to your FOB/Departure Port Price, our 3% Commission Fee.
