RFQ Description

Greetings:I am assessing viability of sourcing components for single home supply (SHS) solutions to be used in poor rural areas in south Asian developing markets. Unit needs are in the order of 10 - 50, 000 units initial order, with potential to grow to 500, 000 units within 2 years.Specifications (approximately):option a)1 panel delivering 50Watts (sufficient to power 3 x 45 watt light bulbs and 1x 19 Television for 3 to 5 hours at night)1x 12V battery 1x charge controller1x power inverter to deliver 220 - 240V AC currentWe would prefer plexiglass (acrylic) panel covering, for durability and rough transport capabilities but thi sis not an absolute.As an alternative to finished panels we are considering importing soalr cell sor amorphous solar sheets an dassembling our own panels.All unit assembly and wiring will be handled by local facilities we are developing currently.You may respond on any one or all components.Best Doug Lockyer, Consulting product designer. solar, low cost, 50 watt motorcycle parts
