Dear Sir, I am about to construct an experimental set up to study ultra thin liquid films on solid substrates. I am thinking of polished silicon wafer but I do not know the type (n- or -p), the orientation, the resistivity or the dopant that are more preferable for my case(even for the thickness I am not quite sure yet)and that because I am not really well informed about this material.However, I know that I want a wafer with significantly low surface roughness, ***** less than 1nm and quite good transparency.
