Hello,This is Eshel Knafo from Lead-Times purchase office.I kindly want to ask for your help, advice, direct me or supply me this new client demandwhich fall at your expertise.I am looking for mfg to produce me Carbon Fiber Pips:OD: 68L= +/- 130Usage: Industrial Use for paper printing machines.Thickness: The ticker wall the better.Mission: substitute for steel St37/Aluminum pipes, with better characters or the same,With the same resistance to the different kind of forces, bend, twist,What kind of surface can you supply?The Important accuracy: Planarity, spiel/ digression, circularity max 50micronYou can also offer better solution then carbon fiber to rich this requestsSizes: we mainly focused at OD: 6-8 and at length of 3500mmQty: 4 deferent types. 120-200pcs from etch / year.My client got many different applications to be used by this, right now we want to start with:Please be informed that today we are using a metal tube which made from 6.75, 0.50 wall thickness, Length 128 (using DOM standard tube or similar).In this application we machine the OD to 6.25 so the surface finish and the tolerances are relatively open. We would like to keep the same technical characteristics so I believe that the wall thickness can be thinner please advise.Few question for your suppliers:1.Technical characteristics - can you convert carbon fiber tube with metal tube? 2.Can we machine your fiber tube? Any special tooling is required?3.Which glue can be used with metal parts (journals)?4.We have few applications that during the manufacturing process high temperature is involved, (autoclave °Ë† 170 degrees Celsius) Hope that now the application is clearer. Any data will be appreciated. So at that point we are interesting at your:1.Standard pipes types list you can mfg, so we know what is evaluable, 2.And kindly check if you can mfg and quote for :OD: 6, 6.75, 7, 8. (or any other standard in between OD: 6-8)T = mini you can.
