Dear Ms. Nalini Parekh,My family and I are Indian and I have known the benefit of the high protein content cashews have.I am launching a range of snacks, particularly high protein nuts with a significant proportion of monounsaturated fats (particularly good for diabetics), that are readily found in other parts of the world, but have not experienced a tailored launch within British markets.Please could you tell me the variants in flavour you are able to supply for whole roasted chick peas and whole roasted cashews? Are you able to supply to London? What would the difference between your FOB origin, and CIF price be? Please would you also let me know if you are able to accommodate requests for natural flavourings to be added to the nuts? For example, Roasted Lime & Chilli Cashews.The nature of the British Company is to provide charitable outsourcing to the producers directly, from sales of these snacks. It is extremely important that any produce we buy is largely traceable to its origin. How feasible do you think it is to uphold our request for knowing the source of the nuts i.e. which farming district/families produced them?It is with this in mind that I would like to also ask your advice; how many subsistence nut farmers are there in India today (estimated) and how could their lives best be improved from Western revenue? More tools? Clothing? Shelter? Irrigation systems? I would genuinely value your advice because we are currently in the stages of designing a pricing structure that can accommodate payments to benefactors (the farmers/industry workers). Your expertise of Indias agricultural sector is invaluable to us and would be extremely appreciated.Finally, please may I request a sample of a variety of your nuts? My main focus is chick peas, cashew nuts and pistachio nuts. I will of course consider other suggestions, as long as they conform to the category of health foods/health snacks. I see that you have not offered samples; I am willing to contribute towards the cost if necessary, provided the samples are relevant and thought provoking.
