Good Morning, Im a Business Capital Consultant in CA. Most of my 20 yr financial career has been in the Private Banking sector with Wells Fargo, Smith Barney and Wachovia.Our target market tends to be projects for housing, energy, oil, gold mining, gas, infrastructure, housing, hotels and resorts. Our sweet spot is 100m although we will look at projects as low as 25m who have a bank guarantee or the financial capital to acquire a BG/SBLC. For those who do not have that capacity, we seek strategic partners who will take an equity ownership in viable projects with good management and strong cash flow projections.An initial cash infusion of 3%-5% of their target funding amount is ideal. The remaining would be placed into a BG or SBLC for with a face value of 100M.An administrative hold would placed on the bank instrument by our European Bank Trading partners who use the BG to execute a line which in turn allows them the liquidity to execute Buy Sell MTN transactions.The profits from these zero risk transactions would fund the project.This process has four advantages. One, it allows us to protect our investment partners. Two, it allows our investment partners to come the table with a fraction of the target dollars typically needed to fund the project (44%-60% of Face Value of a 100M BG/SBLC vs Ask Buyerm to fund the same project). Three, provides ample liquidity to fund the project creating jobs . Four, eliminates debt which adds to shareholder value and increased net profitability. We would hope this funding strategy is appealing to you or a more traditional funding model of rate and term.
