SUBJECT: OUR REQUIREMENT FOR CIGARETTE PACK UNDERLYING PAPERDear SirWe introduce ourselves as a large Indian Conglomerate, the Aditya Birla Group, having interest in wide spectrum of businesses. The business of this unit is in production of Aluminium foil and foil based laminates.We are in the production of paper-foil laminate for cigarette pack underlying paper, and have requirement to the extent of 100-125 MT per month.The requirement is in the substance of 26-28 and 30 GSM (grams per square meter), machine glazed/finished bleached white paper, for water based glue lamination with aluminium foil. Though MG paper is preferred, we may also try out MF paper. The furnish of the paper may be a mixture of Virgin hard wood, soft wood pulp and recycled pulp or any other pulp furnish which serves the purpose. The pH of the paper need to be maintained in the region of 5.5 to 7.00. Brightness is 75-85 %. Number of joints per roll is a pertinent criterion.
