Deformed bars to type 2 bond classification, as defined in BS 4449 (or ASTM A615). .2 Pre-stressing threaded steel bars shall be formed by hot-rolled proof-stressed alloy steel conforming to ASTM A722, with deformations conforming to ASTM A615.
