For the proposed plant, the total extent of land available for theplant 900 acres, which is completely in the possession of TANGEDCO. It is proposed to install 2 x 800 MW in this land. The proposed site is located about 140 KM from Madurai Airport. and about 550 KM south of Chennai city.
