To whom it may concern, Our London office has been asked to manage the procurement of an ongoing supply of Non-GMO White Corn. The initial requirement is substantial, but due to current market conditions our client has requested that we investigate the potential of negotiating and securing an ongoing termed contract for the monthly supply of a fixed amount. For example, 12,000 Metric Tonnes per month for the next 18 months. Obviously such a Supply Contract would require a mutually acceptable price escalation clause. However, the benefit of sourcing monthly from various countries/growers would exist, providing that the basic product specification could be met on all shipments. If the opportunity existed in any given month to provide more than the contracted monthly requirement, then that opportunity could be considered on a month to month basis. Product Specification and Terms applicable to all shipments would be as follows; a) The product must be for human consumption and must meet the following specification; Type: Non-GMO White corn Style: Dried Certification: ISO Country of Origin: Must be specified and approval received, prior to each shipment Moisture: 14% max Foreign Matter: 1.5% max Broken: 3% max Test Weight: 70 kg/hl min. Aflatoxin: 20ppb max Protein: 8% min b) Terms against all shipments; CIF Port Beira against a secure LC or mutually acceptable financial instrument (Proposals requiring unsecured upfront payments will not be considered) All Shipments subject to SGS (or mutually acceptable equivalent) Inspection If this type of Supply Contract is something you would be interested in entering into, please confirm your ability to meet the product specification and terms. Also, please provide a firm price per Metric Tonne quotation for the first shipment, and an indicative non-binding price per Metric Tonne for the subsequent 6 months. The requirement would be for the contract to be concluded, and the first shipment made, as soon as possible. Looking forward to your reply. Best John CousinsDirectorO&N Solutions
