As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinosteel Corporation, Sinosteel Raw Materials company Ltd. is engaged in business areas such as supply and sales of steel and its products, over-rolling and secondary steel products, steel scrap, pig iron, ferrous metal ores, manganese ore, chrome ore, manganese ferroalloys, chrome ferroalloys, coke, coal, coking chemical products, graphite and its products, refractory materials and related raw materials for steel industry. Sinosteel Raw Materials has 0.8 million export license for the coke and ranks 3rd for Chinaâ??s coke exporters. Sinosteel Raw materials exports 1 million tons of coke and sells 3 million tons of domestically each year. We are a trading company as well as a producer. As Sinosteel has two joint ventures in South Africa and one wholly owned company in Zimbabwe, with the total output of 400 thousand tons of ferro chrome each year. We have been co-operating with over 30 smelter plants in a ore-for-alloy way, so that we can better control quality and cost of product.
