A FAMILY, THEIR LAND, THEIR WINE. The original company was founded in 1973 by Vincenzo Spinelli. In the Eighties, his sons Carlo and Adriano joined the business full time. The company's production capacity increased and the owners started to closely monitor all stages of production, from the selection of grapes through to winemaking and bottling. In the early Nineties, the company expanded further, acquiring appropriate facilities and state-of-the-art equipment. THIS MEANS THAT EVERYTHING THAT REALLY MATTERS IS INSIDE OUR HISTORY, DEEPLY ROOTED IN US AND IN OUR LAND, AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN HANDED DOWN GENERATION BY GENERATION".Grapes are grown in Abruzzo, between the Maiella mountain and the sea. 50 hectares of company property and 30 of rented property in a geographic area between the Frentane hills and the hills of Medio Sangro in the province of Chieti, an area that is particularly suitable for grape growing and one of the most important wine producing regions in Italy. Abruzzo is the Italian region we live in and the land of our wines, and Atessa the town where we have always lived and worked.THE VINES WE GROW ARE THE RESULT OF AN ACCURATE SELECTION MADE OVER TIME WITH THE AIM OF OBTAINING THE BEST POSSIBLE RESULTS IN RELATION TO THE TERROIRS.Each wine has its own chosen land and vice versa. In addition to local wines, which are the very heart of our production, we have chosen to grow a limited selection of other vine varieties, namely those that are best suited to the particular soil and climatic conditions of our land.THE NEW CELLAR IS LOCATED IN THE HEART OF A HILLY AREA, IN FRONT OF THE MAIELLA MASSIF, SURROUNDED BY THE VAST VINEYARDS AND OLIVE GROVES OWNED BY THE FAMILY. The cellar has been designed to blend into the surrounding environment as best as possible.
