I am the Owner/Painter, a direct descendant of The Stolen Generation. Each piece is original and is designed and painted by myself. Each piece is produced and painted as the modern day dreamtime painting. They reflect the issues and struggles of an indigenous person in society now & as a young girl. Through my artwork I pay tribute to my mother and her struggle with life as an indigenous woman. Upon her death she left scriptures detailing the crucial moments of her life which branded her forever as part of The Stolen Generation. Newly established in 2007, my artwork is a form of acknowledgement to my heritage, which I forever denyied for fear of societies judgment. Its intent is to be an avenue in which I can tell my mothers story to the world, so the artwork can travel to varying destinations - just as she did during her lifetime.
