Our aim is to find out a consistent musical stream within traditional hand made production methods of Turkish cymbals. Let us explain this:All musicians that are familiar with cymbals very well know that traditionally handmade Turkish cymbals can only cuddle up with their own charm of glory on condition that they are produced in a precise manner based on traditional practices. People who are citing to this charm are actually talking about the tinsel/tone of the cymbal itself, its chunky direct effective sound in other words. We also give great importance to orchestral music. An instrumental ensemble expects the highest limits, quality and tonal range from cymbals. The cymbals should resonate at a frequency within the determined frequency range, and within the context of what the music genre requires ( sound intensity, structure of other instruments which the cymbals accompany). We think that, various series of cymbals (with different shapes, sounds, weights, etc.) should be manufactured considering the needs of the orchestra.
