The Diamond Shop is a fairly young company set up to develop and manufacture specialty cut diamonds and place them in unique fine jewelry. The CEO is David Pittman who has more than thirty years experience in diamond cutting, setting up and directing operations in large diamond cutting factories. Over a period of 18 years he initiated and directed all operations at American Diamond Cutting Works in Thailand, a company that employed over 350 diamond cutters. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of The Thai Diamond Manufacturers Association for the last twenty years. The Diamond Shop is also a member of The Thai Gems and Jewelry Manufacturers Association. Mr. Pittman is also a GIA Graduate and a member of the GIA Alumni Association. Presently, along with his responsibilities at The Diamond Shop, Mr. Pittman is a consultant to My First Diamond Cutting Factory in Chon Buri, Thailand. Presently, The Diamond Shop is developing new lines of diamond jewelry for the world wide market. The most recent addition to this is the FANTASIA line.
