Our clients appreciate having one throat to choke, i.e. avoid being stuck in the middle of any number of overseas suppliers all pointing fingers at one another when something inevitably goes wrong.In the early years we worked with Taiwanese ODM factories to do the majority of the electronic design, but even with tight management on the ground that approach had too many problems (see my article: 7 pitfalls), so for quite some years now we design mechanical parts, electronic hardware and firmware all in-house.We do most of our design in Taiwan and Colombia offices, mass manufacturing in China, production of high value & complex products in Taiwan.
