Transpacific operates according to a corporate code of conduct.Our clients range from small businesses right through to large multi-national commercial and industrial organisations that span almost every industry imaginable.We service clients from in excess of 200 sites and depots, leveraging over 50 technical treatment and processing plants and more than 45 resource recovery, recycling and baling facilities across Australia.Each year, we collect used mineral oil from over 35,000 workshops and businesses around Australia and New Zealand and recycle the waste product to create high quality fuel oil and hydro-treated lubricant base oils.Recycling waste oil means this valuable resource is saved from potentially harmful disposal and is instead reused in a safe and environmentally compliant way.Transpacific processes in excess of 150 million litres of used mineral oil every year, which helps to protect the environment and offsets Australias and New Zealands requirements by approximately 900,000 barrels annually.Fuel oils are used by a variety of companies for heating and power generation.Base oils, on the other hand, are used by lubricant blenders to make lubricants. They are also used in petroleum chemicals to make a variety of specialised additives for industry.Both fuel and base oils are sold in Australia and exported overseas.Transpacifics hydrogenation facility in New South Wales, which is an Australian-first, produces API Group 1 base oils which exceed the American Petroleum Institutes industry standard. This hydrogenation plant (Joint Venture) was commissioned in 2007.Transpacific is the largest waste oil collector in the country - we provide used oil removal, disposal and recycling services for thousands of clients across Australia.Our waste oil removal service cater for all types of waste oil including used engine oil, oily water, used hydraulic oil and sump oil.Our specialist fleet of liquid and hazardous waste vehicles and strict licensing standards of our operators and drivers means we will deliver the highest level of operational safety, quality and compliance. Transpacifics extensive fleet of waste oil collection tankers can service your individual requirements - from small 6000 litre tankers to B-Double semi tankers that can remove up to 40,000 litres of waste oil.We operate under an externally certified Integrated Management System meeting the requirements of key Australian standards for quality, environment and safety.Oil recyclingThrough our hydrogenation plant we provide closed loop oil recycling, turning your used oil into a base oil for sale. We aim to recover and recycle the maximum amount of waste oil possible to reduce your impact on the environment.
