Created in 1948 by Mr Georges Dumas and establishedin Touraine for 40 years, Verrerie DUMAS specializedin manufacturing glassware apparatus dedicated to thedairy and wine analysis and control.Based on this experience, the company mastered inglass-works, by giving priority to the accuracy andthe quality of its products, which has enabled to bewell-known beyond its two favorite areas. DUMASglassmaker has been offering different servicesfor various industrial areas, from pharmacology todecoration. Know-howOur team of 8 glassblowers works with borosilicate, sodocalcic, quartz glass orwith special glass and, is able to use all hot and cold glass-works techniqueswith professionalism and enthusiasm: engraving, gauging, sandblast, glasscutting, polishing, glass-metal welding, and also sheet glass-work andsilkscreen.Fields of expertiseThanks to the knowledge gained over the years and to the skills carefullyselected and gathered, we are able to answer to requests from differentareas in which the accuracy and quality of the instruments are veryimportant, such as in:- Research : industrial, medical, chemical/petrochemical;- Industry : pharmaceutical, medical, oil, food (wine, dairy);- Education : universities of chemistry and pharmacy;- Interior design and furnishings.
