In 1950, production became more of a commercial operation as the family began selling maple syrup in barrels to the trade.From 1987 to 1992, the family business focused its energies on improving equipment and keeping ecological practices that respect environment as taught by our ancestors. That meant using stainless steel for our equipment, avoiding to boil down maple sap with microwave technology and not using artificial fertilizers pr toxic chemicals for cleaning any equipment. Which is an internationally accredited organic certifying body approved by CAAQ and USDA. The family business is also certified Kasher by an international accredited organism.Over the years, Ferme Vifranc inc. has developed a unique and a strict quality control system to ensure that all of the syrup sold meets their requirements for taste and sweetness.
