Founded in 1996, Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co., Ltd. (Wuling Group, for short) is a large-scale enterprise owned by the sate, specialized in manufacturing and sales of auto part, engine and special-purpose vehicle of subcompact. Wuling Group is one of the Top 500 Chinese Manufacturing Enterprises, Top 500 Chinese Large-scale Industrial Enterprises and Top 500 Chinese Informationized Enterprises, and was awarded as the National Civilized Organization in 2005. Since established in 1958, Wuling had experienced three important transformations, changed from the ship diesel manufacturer to the tractor manufacturer, and then to the subcompact manufacturer, and has been transformed from the state owned enterprise to the company operated by three parts now. In 2005, Wuling Group sales revenue achieved RMB 5.5 billion and RMB 4.2 billion after combination, increasing by 36% compared to the last year. So far, the total asset of the group has reached to RMB 3.7 billion.
