We wanted to find the best balance of weight, durability and function in order to fulfill our brief of creating the best, most economical lightweight wheelsets we possibly could without compromising their effectiveness. Our rims are high tech Superlight carbon, our hubs are beautifully crafted, Superlight and robust and our spokes are tried and tested Sapim CX-Ray aero bladed and pillar aero 1420. Even the QR skewers are Superlight Ti (51g). All this brings our VX-5E wheelset in at 1130g(1181g with skewers).
