Being an independent body, Xi'an Maurer Petroleum Engineering Laboratory mainly provides series of technical services for petroleum engineering materials and product, such as research and development, test and analysis, quality inspection, failure analysis, equipment supervision, technical training and consultation, etc. Holding the tenet of 'Regarding the technology as basis, increasing the values for clients', Xi'an Maurer Petroleum Engineering Laboratory devotes itself in providing technical solution plans and technical support for the clients. Xi'an Maurer Petroleum Engineering Laboratory is comprised of administrative committee, Department of Research and Development, Department of Test and Analysis, Department of Quality Inspection and Engineering Service. Further, it is co-invested with two laboratories, such as Tianjin Maurer Engineering Material Laboratory and Shanghai Maurer Petroleum Engineering Laboratory. Xi'an Maurer Petroleum Engineering Laboratory has a complete set of hardware, such as the equipments for mechanical and chemical analysis of materials, corrosion test and wear test as well as instruments for thread parameter inspection and non-destructive inspection. Further, it is equipped with the software for engineering material selection, drill string design, wear predication of casing and marine riser, corrosion rate prediction and finite element analysis (FEA), etc. Being technically authorized by American Maurer Enterprise, it has passed the accreditation of API Spec Q1, ISO/TS 29001 and China CMA and obtained the certification from Tianjin Metallurgical Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and Failure Analysis Branch Network of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. As a result, its relevant business includes test and inspection, quality supervision and failure analysis for relevant legal products.
