Aqrovest LLC is the largest manufacturer and exporter of hazelnuts in Azerbaijan. The company has been a prominent market player since 2000s, successfully exporting hazelnut products to the top European companies. Aqrovest has recently launched a new state-of-the-art hazelnut processing plant in Zaqatala region of Azerbaijan equipped with innovative technological solutions from industry leading companies. This is one of the biggest hazelnut processing facilities in the world with an annual production capacity estimated to be around 7000 tons of hazelnuts (kernel basis) and in-shell processing capacity over 20, 000 tons. The facilities occupy around 100 000m2 and include features like climate controlled warehouses with the total capacity of 2500 tons, 20 drying tanks that can process 25 tons of hazelnuts, fully equipped laboratory and other administrative buildings. In an effort to become the nationwide leader in fostering industry-specific education, Aqrovest has also integrated training centers for farmers into its plant. Every aspect of the hazelnut production flow on the new plant is strictly controlled and meets the highest international standards for food processing. Raw materials used in production are coming straight from the company orchards and purchased from the approved suppliers. Upon acceptance at the plant hazelnuts are double checked and analyzed in accordance with purchasing specifications. World’s leading testing and certification company SGS has established its laboratory within facilities and performs analyses on aflatoxin and other key parameters. This allows Aqrovest to consistently provide its customers with superior quality hazelnuts and strictly oversee adherence to product specifications. We are offering raw hazelnut kernels in various calibers (9-11 mm, 11-13mm, 13-15mm and etc.) and other hazelnut products upon request.
