About MEP World Group
MEP consists of three entities: MEP Consulting Engineers, MEP Construction and MEP World Group. MEP World Group is our technology division that develops new materials with the majority of those technologies revolving around graphene (we produce in-house; 1 to 3+ micron), composites, carbides, resins, etc. All of our divisions are hyper focused on sustainability and solutions. The basalt and hybrid composites are for use in aerospace, energy, construction, defense, framing, etc. Many times stronger than steel, 30% cheaper than aluminum, non-conductive (although we can create variants that are conductive), can be used for automotive chassis or other applications, increases efficiency when used for framing, replaces most metal components in almost all applications, class 4 ballistic at 1/8th of an inch, can be used for EMF or EMP shielding, etc. When used in construction applications there are many benefits such as increased productivity and a large reduction in workmans comp. We produce basalt rebar, tie-backs, stirrups, staples, etc. We also produce various carbides for many different applications. We also offer Seamix (Video: https://youtu.be/S-o9OpDk5Xo ; Español: https://youtu.be/Yo_ZpHrkAa4 ), which greatly reduces cost, substantially increases durability, greatly increases lifespan, reduces thermal transfer, can be tailored to absorb carbon from the air (potentially providing carbon credits while further increasing strength, durability, etc), and many other benefits. We can reduce the volume of Portland cement by a large margin and have applications that can generate energy for the structures in which they're applied. We believe we can provide a minimum savings of 20% + on any project estimated with traditional materials (much greater savings if we are included in the engineering and planning processes earlier). We also offer lightweight concrete that floats (many applications such as floating platforms) and produce bioluminescent materials for a variety of applications (ie- bioluminescent sidewalks, buildings, etc).
