Simacryl® ED-002 acts as a dispersing agent and scale inhibitor to avoid Calcium and Magnesium depositions in industrial aqueous systems such as evaporators, heat exchangers and cooling towers. Being a water soluble synthetic anti-scaling additive, it is designed to be used in sugar juice evaporators. It can also be used as a viscosity stabilizer for clay slurries applicable in tile and ceramic industry.
Having desirable stability in the presence of hypochlorite, Simacryl® ED-002 exhibits good performance at low dosage over a wide range of pH and temperature conditions. It acts as a rheology modifier in mineral suspension. Simacryl® ED-002 by increasing the density and clay/water ratio causes excellent mechanical stability in tiles and ceramic bodies compared to inorganic dispersing agents.
