The welding arm of the X-type suspension welder opens and closes like scissors. This type of welding machine is suitable for welding workpieces with large dimensions and large welding positions. The commonly applied arm lengths are 330mm, 420mm, 500mm, and 600mm. The length can be up to 1200mm, and special ones can be customized.
The static welding arm of the C-type suspension welder is L-shaped, and the other welding arm is perpendicular to the short side of the L-shaped welding arm. The encircling circle formed by the two welding arms is like the letter “C” when it is not closed. This type of welding machine is suitable for industries where the workpiece is large but the throat depth of the welding position is not large, and the welding speed requirements are high, such as the welding of the pipe in the duct mouth and the flange angle iron.
Welding Principle
When welding, firstly place the workpiece between the electrodes of the welding tongs, and then press the welding switch, the “pressurization” program segment starts, the solenoid valve acts, and compressed air enters the cylinder of the welding machine to actuate the electrodes of the welding tongs, compress the workpiece, and pass With a proper delay, the “welding” program segment starts. At this time, the primary coil of the welding transformer is connected to the power supply through the control of the thyristor, and the secondary generates welding current to weld the workpiece. After the “welding” program segment ends, the transformer primary When the coil is powered off, the welding machine enters the “maintenance” program. After the pressure is maintained for a period of time, the solenoid valve is disconnected, the welding gun releases the workpiece, and the welding machine enters the “rest” program. At this point, a welding cycle has been completed.
The time control of each program segment such as “pressurization”, “welding”, “maintenance” and “stop” during the operation of the hanging spot welding machine is completed by the time regulator in the spot welding machine controller. The length of time required for each procedure and the size of the welding current (ie “welding specification”) should be set in advance according to the welding process.
