THE IMPORTANCE OF TPMS
When car running on highway, tire failure is very difficult to be prevented,
It is also an important reason of sudden traffic accident. According to statistics, there are 70% severe traffic accidents are caused by the tire failure.
So ISO made a standard about TPMS: ISO21750-2006
(Road vehicles – Safety enhancement in conjunction with tyre inflation pressure monitoring)
Then in 2007, the U.S. government legislated the mandatory installation of TPMS.
In 2012, 27 countries of the European Union, legislated the mandatory installation of TPMS.
In 2013, Japan, Korea and Taiwan all legislated the mandatory installation of TPMS
In 2015, China will legislate the mandatory installation of TPMS
FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES OF TPMS
1. Prevent tire bursting
When the tire pressure is high or low, or high temperature, the system will send alarm warning in time to reduce bursting possibility.
2. Tire leaking warning
Slow leaking is the culprit of tire bursting. When the tire is leaking, the system will send the alarm warning immediately.
3. Reduce tire wear
It will accelerate tire wear when the tire pressure is too high or too low,
Keep the correct tire pressure will extend the tire lifespan.
4. Save fuel
When the tire pressure is low, the fuel consumption will be increased due to the high rolling resistance of tire.
5. Tire balance
Vehicle running deviation will be easily occurred w hen the tire pressure is unbalanced. Keep the balance of 4 tires to improve vehicle handling and shorten the braking distance.
6. Visual and audible warning for abnormal tire pressure and temperature
7. Sensor with long battery life
