That looks more like coral shell,paua has blues,purples,pinks,turquoise greens and yellow colors flowing together like a rainbow,their patter is irriidescent as the mother of pearl shines through the colors along with the sea exposure. I love abalone/paua shells,they are the most beautiful shells when they havebeen tumbed and sanded. Coral is beautiful as well but its just one color,and jewelers dont make anything interesting with them,after putting them into a rock tumbler to smooth them over. I like seashells with beautiful colored shells in unique shapes.
