RFQ Description

Dear Sir/madamWe are interested in Rice 25% brokenThe quantity needed is 50,000 metric tons.Destination Country is Zambia.Our Procedure is as follows:Note: This is a Closed Tender and Not open Tender.1.You to submit your company profile and Quotation so that you get registered with the Buying Ministry. You will only be registered after the Ministry evaluates your company profile and quotation meets our target price.2.Once your profile and quotation are ok,then you will be required to come to Zambia and get registered with Ministry responsible.Registration fee is ZMK25000(USAsk Buyer).3.After getting Registered,you will be required to sign Contract.3 x copies of the contracts will be signed.4.After signing the contracts,Buying Ministry ,together with you will deliver the contracts to the paying Bank so that 70% upfront can be effected.The documents required to process 70% upfront are:a)Approved quotation.b)Signed and sealed contract.c)Quality Compromise Security Deposit of 2% of the contract value.This is deposited into the account of the Ministry.It is the funds which is used to recoup the losses in case supplier delivers part of Rice that is defective or with compromised quality.But if Supplier delivers rice with quality as agreed in the contract,this fund is released back to the supplier upon succesful completion of the deliveries.d).Once the Documents are successfully lodged with the paying bank,it will take only 4 banking days to transfer 70% upfront payment to suppliers account.e).30% balance will be paid after completion of all deliveries.5.After receiving 70% upfront,supplier must provide the delivery schedule.Our scheduled time frame is 12 months.
