specification for Wheeled Bins and Internal CaddiesWheelie Bins:· Wheelie Bins must be 140L and 240L capable of accepting an internal caddy ranging from 20L 40L· Wheelie Bins and Internal Caddies must be manufactured from high-density injection moulded polythene (HDPE). Must be 100% virgin high-density polythene and or a mixture of virgin and recycled material.· Wheelie bins must comply with European Standard BS EN 804 and a copy of the certificate must be sent with quotation.· Wheelie bins must be Dark Blue (RAL.5003)· Bins shall be fitted 200mm diameter rubber wheels, fitted to a solid hardened steel axel by a spring loaded locking pin.· Lids shall be contoured so as to prevent the entry of water into the body, lids shall be secured to the body of the bins by plastic lugs (rivets) to facilitate repair.· The lifting rim of the body shall be reinforced on the underside· The upper rim of the body shall be designed to prevent the collection of water on the surface.· All bins shall be provided with suitable handles· The base of the rim must be a minimum depth of 19mm· Wheelie bins should be capable of embodying a microchip to allow for future developments in relation to identification, weight, location etc in conjunction with the rubbish collection vehicle.Internal Caddy:· Caddies must range between 20 and 40L· Colour must be Black· Internal caddies must fit into a standard 140L and 240L bin· Bins lids must close complete when internal caddy is in placeMarking:· Bins May require the following heat embossed onto the bin and caddy in colour foil:o Logoo Unique serial numbero Information label (details provided later)· Additional info:o Information stickero Name of Authority, year of manufacturer and NO HOT ASHES clearly moulded on the lid.o BrailleGuarantee:· All Bin wheel aligner
